Privacy
This page describes data used by KIVO's main site. It does not cover product-specific data, which has separate notices.
Data used
KIVO uses one identity across its applications. The main site stores only the member identifier, upvotes, newsletter status, consent language, and idempotency records required to keep commands safe.
Purposes
This data is used only to recognise a unique reversible upvote, manage subscription or unsubscription, send confirmation email, and protect these actions against accidental repetition.
Cookies and session
The session cookie is limited to the KIVO API host. KIVO sites use it through secured requests without being able to read it or expose it to the interface.
Retention and rights
Upvotes are deleted when withdrawn. Consent information is retained to establish subscription state and date. You can request access, correction, or deletion of site data by writing to privacy@kivo.dz.
Processors
The frontends, API and database may be hosted by separate service providers. The initial email provider is a development adapter and sends no external message; this section will be updated before a real provider is connected.
